WHO YOU ARE?
The Compensation Analyst is a highly energetic and innovative individual who will serve as a subject matter expert and will support, and lead the analytical aspects of our consulting engagements such as:
- Pay strategy
- Job analysis
- Job architecture
- External market evaluation
- Incentive compensation design
- Economic modeling and costing
- Salary structure development
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 or more years of progressive consulting and corporate compensation experience
- Previous experience in driving the analytics on compensation projects.
- Extensive knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Highly skilled advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, complicated formulas, charts)
- Broad working knowledge of Human Resources laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibits the ability to multi-task and perform as a team player in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Possesses strong customer and results orientation

- Analyzing and preparing job descriptions, working with clients to understand unique industry nuances.
- Analyzing data and preparing statistical reports related to job review activities, salary equity issues, and trend analysis.
- Maintain strong relationships by delivering value to business owners, leaders, and process owners of current and potential clients
- Taking a lead analyst role on benchmarking activities, market studies, and salary structure analysis/updates
- Working and supporting a team of consultants to meet tight deadlines
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Conduct analytics research and formulate recommendations based on client salary structures, FLSA exemptions, organizational structures, and external market data.
- Create compensation models to provide analysis on client projects.
- Proactively anticipate and stay informed of information related to impacts on our clients including regulations, market practices, trends, economic factors, and risk.
- Perform research and analysis to support various client projects such as organizational structures, GEO analysis, market pricing jobs, and reporting requests; support annual salary planning and bonus programs
- Partner with clients to review/ develop job descriptions. Determine appropriate salary grade and FLSA status. Recommend appropriate salary, grade, and title, maintaining internal equity.
- Perform analysis such as competitive analysis, pay equity, etc.
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
